HIV Community Grants Program
Gilead Canada’s HIV Community Grants program aims to support projects that address HIV care inequities, from linkage-to-care, prevention and testing to supporting those diagnosed in and out of care, including providing peer-to-peer support, education and public health advocacy across Canada. We believe that everyone should have access to the same quality healthcare, regardless of their background and circumstances.
Eligibility
Gilead will consider applications that reach diverse communities within Canada. We are seeking to support projects that focus on (but are not limited to) the following:
- Disease awareness
- Public policy advocacy
- Patient and provider education
- Data collection and generation
- Innovative service delivery / implementation models
Specifically, we are interested in initiatives that address critical gaps in the HIV care cascade, particularly those that aim to link 95% of people living with HIV (PLWH) to care or that promote access to HIV prevention. Additionally, projects should demonstrate a commitment to advancing health equity and must target priority populations such as gay, bisexual, and men who have sex with men (GBMSM), migrants, racialized communities, and Indigenous groups.
By partnering with communities, we aim to help achieve UNAIDS targets and drive meaningful progress in ending the HIV epidemic for everyone, everywhere.
Further information on the eligibility criteria can be found in the Funding Opportunity Announcement.
